a note from us

koh + low = kohlowmee.

To everyone who's known us for the past nine years: thank you for being part of our lives. 💛

On 10·10 we'd love to celebrate with you (not shopee sale). We are having a church celebration in the morning ⛪ and dinner in the evening 🍜. Feel free to come for either, or for both. See you there!

With so much love,
Lauren & Joseph

our story (the short version)

from 2017 to 2026.

Lauren and Joseph in ACJC school uniforms

the meet

We met in 2017 in ACJC. Joseph was Lauren's Orientation Group Leader (apparently a scandal to 17 year olds).

Joseph in army No.1 uniform with Lauren

the wait

Joseph went to NS for two years while Lauren started university. We did 16 months long-distance while we were both abroad for work/exchange programmes.

Lauren and Joseph at Tioman Ultra TU50

the trail

We did our first trail race together in Tioman in June 2024. That was the start of us both taking running a little bit more seriously.

Lauren and Joseph in the Blue Mountains, Australia

the yes

We got engaged somewhere secret near the Blue Mountains after finishing a 50km trail race in May 2025.

build your bowl.

Pure procrastination, zero consequences. Tap toppings to drop them into a kolo mee bowl. We won’t actually serve this on the day.

Done — now RSVP →

Bowl is empty. The chef is concerned.

the important bit

RSVP.

Please by 10 August 2026. One submission per group/household is great.

Totally optional — we’ll only use these to share photos after the day and send a small reminder beforehand.

Which parts can you make?

things you might ask

FAQ.

  • Can I come to only one event?
Absolutely. You're invited to both, but we get that the day is long. Tick whichever you can make on the RSVP, whether Church, Dinner, or both. We'll be thrilled either way.
  • Can I bring a plus-one?
Yes, plus-ones are invited. If you're unsure, drop us a message in the RSVP form and we'll come back to you.
  • What's the parking and transport like?
Church of St. Ignatius (120 King's Road) has on-site parking and is near Farrer Road MRT. SICC Island Location (180 Island Club Road) has guest parking; cabs and Grab are easy in and out. We’ll send specifics closer to the date.
  • What is Kolo Mee?
    A bowl of kolo mee
Kolo mee is a Sarawakian dry noodle dish. Our surnames are Koh and Low. Smash them together with the word for noodles (mee) and you get… well, you get kohlowmee.com.
  • Allergies and dietary restrictions?
Both venues can handle most needs. Please flag yours in the RSVP and we'll relay to the kitchens.
  • When do RSVPs close?
Please RSVP by 10 August 2026 so we can lock in numbers with the venues. (Earlier is even better.)
  • I have a question that isn't here.
